Truffle Dinner is Back


Our 3rd Annual Truffle Dinner takes place on November 11th. We are very excited about this year’s event as we are partnering with Cru Wine Selections. The truffle dinner will be paired exclusively with the wines of Angelo Gaja (except the reception bubbles). Each of Gaja’s three properties will be represented (Gaja in Piedmont, Ca’Marcanda in Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast, and Pieve Santa Restituta in Montalcino). Here is the menu:

Reception – Canapes
Nino Franco Prosecco Grave di Stecca

1st course – Sunchoke Soup, Egg, Truffle
Gaja Rossj-Bass Chardonnay

2nd course – Scallop, Hazelnuts, Truffle
Gaja Gaia & Rey Chardonnay

3rd course – Quail, Truffle
Ca’Marcanda Magari

4th course – Truffle Risotto
Gaja Barbaresco

5th course – Hand-Cut Tajarin, Truffle
Gaja Sperss

6th course – Veal, Fonduta, Truffle
Pieve Santa Restituta Brunello di Montalcino Rennina

7th course – Dolci
Gaja Grappa di Barbaresco

Tickets are expected to sell out fast ($300 per person), but note that we’ll have white truffles in house for the week leading up to and after the event. A La Carte diners will have the opportunity to sample truffle in a variety of ways, whether it be with egg, Carne Crudo, Tajarin, and so on.
